Society of Clinical Placement Professionals Announces 2026 Summit and Keynote Speaker Dr. Modupè Savage

January 30, 2026 Baltimore, MD — The Society of Clinical Placement Professionals (SCPP) is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual SCPP Summit, taking place April 23–24, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland. The Summit will convene clinical placement and practice education professionals from across the country to address the evolving challenges shaping clinical education and the healthcare workforce.

SCPP is proud to announce Dr. Modupè Savage, Senior Director for Academic–Practice Partnerships and The Academy at MedStar Health, as the 2026 Summit Keynote Speaker.

Dr. Savage is a nationally respected healthcare leader and workforce strategist whose work spans academic–practice partnerships, clinical placement facilitation, and workforce pipeline development across acute, ambulatory, and primary care settings. Her leadership focuses on strengthening the connection between education and practice, expanding placement capacity, supporting preceptors, and creating sustainable pathways from student to workforce.

The 2026 Summit will feature a full day of education, a keynote presentation, panels and mini-podium sessions, and networking opportunities.
